Global Roto-Moulding is excited to announce a ground breaking three-year partnership with the Spirit of Cricket Festivale, taking place in Mildura from 17th to 30th September.
As the naming rights sponsor, Global Roto-Moulding is proud to support this initiative that champions the values of sportsmanship, respect, and camaraderie in cricket.
Lester Ferry, Managing Director of Global Roto-Moulding, highlighted the significance of this partnership: "Global Roto-Moulding is proud to partner with the Spirit of Cricket Festivale, a local initiative that embodies the values that are so integral to cricket. This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to community engagement."
The two-week-long “Global” Spirit of Cricket Festivale will feature seven One Day Internationals (ODIs) played between the Australia, New Zealand, and Australia A Over 50's teams. The excitement will continue with the launch of the Spirit of Cricket T20 Tournament on 26th September at the Power House Precinct. This tournament will see eight franchises from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia converge on Mildura, with players from both Australia and New Zealand competing in 32 x T20 games from 27th to 30th September. The competition will culminate in a thrilling final, where two franchise teams will battle it out for a $5,000 winner-takes-all prize.
Anthony Telfer, CEO of Spirit of Cricket Global, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: "We are really excited to partner with Global Roto-Moulding after a hiatus of several years. The branding alignment is amazing, with our tournament in Mildura now known as the 'Global' Spirit of Cricket Festivale. This partnership will provide both organisations along with the region, international recognition and firmly place Mildura on the international veterans cricket calendar."
Ferry added, "Building on our history of supporting community sports, including our previous partnership of Willowfest, we are excited to once again support Anthony Telfer and his team in promoting these values. Our vision is to make the Spirit of Cricket the most recognisable brand in world cricket and inspire the spirit of cricket in every cricketer and fan."
He emphasized that this partnership is about more than just branding. "It’s about aligning with a mission to cultivate a community that upholds the principles of fairness, respect, and sportsmanship on and off the field."
Telfer echoed this sentiment, noting the broader impact of the partnership: "With this partnership now secure for the next three years, along with support from the Mildura Rural City Council, the global rollout of this T20 veterans cricket tournament is well underway."
Global Roto-Moulding, a leading Australian manufacturer of high-quality, durable polyethylene tanks and products, has a strong focus on innovation and community engagement. This partnership underscores the company’s commitment to fostering a strong, vibrant cricket community in Mildura and beyond.
