The Spirit of Cricket Festivale promises two weeks of electrifying over-50s cricket, featuring a lineup of international clashes between Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, alongside the inaugural Spirit of Cricket Twenty20 Global Over-50s competition.
At the forefront of this ground breaking event is Anthony Telfer, a stalwart in the cricketing community and former president of Willowfest. With deep roots in Mildura, Telfer is thrilled to bring this cricketing extravaganza back to his hometown.
"The international matches will be the last opportunity for these players to represent their countries before the World Cup in Sri Lanka in February 2025, making it a significant week for them to stake their claim for World Cup selection and put Mildura on the international stage," remarked Telfer, emphasizing the festivale's importance for participating players.

In addition to the on-field action, the Spirit of Cricket Festivale introduces the Spirit of Cricket Curriculum, spearheaded by Telfer alongside cricket enthusiasts and the comedy duo, the Nelson Twins.
